Progress!

Apologies – a series of other events have sidetracked things for our posting.  But fortunately not in the building!  The building has been moving along steadily.  And we are back on track.

Since our last post, much of the unseen work in the interior has been completed:  HVAC, electric, etc.  A preliminary round of clean-up has taken place and measurements have been taken for window treatment.  Tile has gone down on the restroom walls and floor.  But most exciting of all:  carpet and cabinets!

Programming room storage - it already seems strange.

The carpet should be finished by early next week.  Mill work and painting should come next.  I think I saw someone replacing shutters today also.  And before we know it, the parts of shelving should arrive and more visible changes will take place yet again. 

At the Mini B. we are trying to keep up with Summer Reading and have started ordering some new furnishings for our renovated space.  We are very exciting and gearing up for a big move and transition.  I'm sure it will be here before we know it.
