If you have traveled the center of town this week, you know
we have started to see roofing! The
trusses and ply are up in the most back section of the building. As I understand it, there are some interior
supports that will come next. These are
necessary items, but afford no good photo ops.
I presume that when this is completed, we will start to see the trusses
and ply on the middle section of roof. Some
people have wondered if this middle section will be flat. It should not be. This section will slant in
the opposite direction. So the roof in
the back of the building will mirror the roof line in the front.
When this stage is complete the next phase will most likely
be ‘invisible’ to us. Heating ducts,
etc. will need to be placed in the roof, etc. but we’ll try to keep you posted
as we know ourselves.
