With the ides of January here, we hope that all of you
had Happy Holidays! Here in the realm of
Library Land, things have been pretty quiet. Understandably the past two weeks have not seen much for the renovation
project, but that does not mean nothing has happened.
While all has seemed quiet there has been much activity
behind the scenes with necessary paperwork, permits, plans, etc. Nothing particularly exciting, but all things
needed. It is our hope that trusses are being fabricated or will be soon and
that once again we will be able to literally "see" progress.
In the meanwhile, the Mini B. is going strong. Come visit us in the next few weeks for a
presentation on CT bob cats and history of CT beer. (Not the same program!) We
are getting sign-ups for our Adult Winter Reading program (with prizes! Sign up today!) Behind the scenes we are starting plans for
summer reading and begun the arduous process of assessing furniture needs and
floor plan for after the renovation.
Now that the new year is upon us, we'll be back in full swing and waiting for Spring!
