It hardly seems possible that we have completed the first
week of November, but at least the weather has been with us! Thanksgiving will be here before you know
it. On this front, I have to share that
the Library has gotten in some very good looking new cookbooks! (I’ve been watching The Great British Baking
Show on TV, and as they say, some of the dishes look ‘scrummy’!)
But on the topic of thanks - Thanks to all who came out to
vote! And thanks to all of you who also
ventured across the street to visit us!
Thanks also to the Friends of the Library who opened up
their book sale for Election Day. The
Friends support is invaluable to us. The
Chapel and their volunteerism save the town thousands of dollars each year!
While there is still nothing I can report, I can share with
all of you that there has been several meetings this week that are keeping the
building renovation plans in motion. I
hope that we will be seeing something and have info to report to you soon.
